Role Description

Robert Wanthouse & Associates, located in Middlesex, NJ, is seeking a part-time Project Architect/AutoCAD Architectural Drafter for a hybrid role that allows for some remote work. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design software. You will use AutoCAD to create detailed architectural drawings based on specifications from architects and engineers, including plans, elevations, and construction details. You will also help maintain drawing databases, coordinate with other members of the design team, and perform quality control checks on drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years experience as an architectural project manager
• Experience as an AutoCAD Architectural Drafter or similar role
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work within deadlines and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Degree in architecture or a related field preferred but not required
• Experience with building codes and regulations preferred
• Architecture license not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
